What to do, where to go for information, and what the WBNC is doing.

The Coronavirus is causing us to make big changes in the way we live, to keep us all safe.

What you must do:

If you feel unwell: stay home.
If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, and you suspect you may have the coronavirus disease (COVID-19):- call the dedicated hotline, 1800 675 398 – open 24 hours, 7 days.
Please keep Triple Zero (000) for emergencies only.

Abide by the rules during this pandemic. In Victoria and nationally they are:

STAY HOME. There are only 4 reasons to be out:

shopping for what you need - food and essential supplies
medical, care or compassionate needs
exercise in compliance with the public gathering requirements
work and study if you can’t work or learn remotely

If you must go out:

keep your distance - a minimum of 1.5 metres between people.
Pay attention to markings in supermarkets and other places, to help keep your distance.
Wash your hands frequently, even at home, but certainly before and after going out.
Cough into a tissue, or into your elbow or upper sleeve. Put the tissue in a bin. Wash your hands.

Changes in our operations:

To minimise the risk of infection, we are asking people to call ahead on (03) 5072 6100 before you visit the Bush Nursing Centre.

If there’s a chance of your being infected, you must call ahead for directions.

We are still attending to pathology, dressings, medication and other clinical needs.

Visiting healthcare workers such as Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, Podiatrist and others are not able to provide services during Stage 3 restrictions.
