What do we collect from you?
WBNC may collect your personal information, and continue to collect information for your medical history.
How do we protect your data?
Your information is held by us in two ways: electronically and in hard copy (on paper).
Electronic information is held securely on our computer system, and is protected by strong security. Access for both reading and updating is restricted to clinical staff.
Paper files are held in locked storage, with access restricted to clinical staff. Files are removed only to be accessed on-site, and are never removed from the site, even for home visits. For files to be removed, a court order is required.
For home visits, notes are taken in a temporary file, with those pages then being added to the paper file on return to WDBNC.
Your privacy and confidentiality are important to us, and governed by law.
